Prepare for Wimbledon with This Refreshing Cocktail and Movie Pairing
Wimbledon 2018 begins on Monday, July 2, and to say I’m ready is an understatement. I’m so ready that I’ve prepared a cocktail for you, AND have a movie recommendation. The cocktail? A Jalapeño Gin and Tonic, which is unexpectedly refreshing and flavorful. I don’t use jalapeños a lot, but when I do it’s intentional and makes an impact.
The movie I’d recommend watching in preparation for Wimbledon is Borg vs McEnroe, which shows the story of Björn Borg and the volatile John McEnroe during their 1980s tennis rivalry. It’s unexpected (much like the jalapeño in this Gin and Tonic), emotional, and educational. I hadn’t heard of the rivalry between Borg and McEnroe, so this movie was eye-opening and informative. I also really enjoy a good tennis drama film. The runner-up to Borg vs McEnroe is, of course, Wimbledon (I also really enjoy a good romantic comedy). Happy watching and drinking!

This is a strong cocktail, but you can add more tonic to mellow it out.
