That’s a Wrap!

The Hunger Games (2012) / {snack, food city, snapshot by a dash of cinema}

This weekend couldn’t come soon enough, and I am ecstatic that it is finally here because I get to spend it with my sister. We still haven’t seen The Hunger Games, but we are making time this weekend to do so. I’ve heard nothing but good things, so I expect to be thoroughly entertained. The quote by Albert Camus (above) is one that I am going to observe…starting now. I hope you have a fun and restful weekend!

That’s a Wrap!

It’s official: spring has sprung! We can now say ‘that’s a wrap’ on both winter and the week. Now that winter is finally over, I’m looking forward to all the colors and flavors that spring has to offer, such as orange, lemon, and strawberry. After a non-stop week full of quizzes, video projects, and essay writing, I am looking forward to a day in Los Angeles, The Hunger Games, and a good night’s rest.

Friday’s Features

♥ I want to save the dolphins. Not kidding. Also, I can rewatch this documentary over and over again (and cry every time).

First week of December down, only a couple more until Christmas. I can’t wait to get home and do lots of baking, blogging, writing, and movie watching. There are also lots of chores and errands to be done. I’ve learned a lot this semester, and while I can’t wait to learn even more next semester, I am ready for a nice long break. Before that, though, these are the things I have been watching and craving…

♥ Cereal for dinner

Catching Fire is next on my list.  The Hunger Games was so addicting, and is going to do very well at the box office that Catching Fire will obviously be made into a movie.

The Five Year Engagement trailer is finally out – I’ve been waiting for this goodie for a long time!

♥ A cute date

♥ Incredible! Guess what this dog is made out of?

♥ Obviously, one of the best ways to say thank you

I hope you all had a wonderful and warm Thanksgiving! I can’t believe how quickly November passed. I know I say this at the end of every month, but November flew by faster than October! The end of the semester is a mere two weeks away, and I am left with multiple papers, final presentations, and final project images that need Photoshopping! It is nice to have some time with family, all of whom I am so grateful for. Now’s the time to let your belly rest, or hit the gym, or just snack on leftovers while reading a thrilling book (read: The Hunger Games and Mindy Kaling’s Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? And Other Concerns – I am often between two books, and have learned that if I don’t make time to read it’ll never happen). So here’s to ending your Thanksgiving week with a bang!

♥ Trailer for We Bought a Zoo - this look magical.

♥ Pac Man Cookie Cutters

♥ Macy’s Day Parade

♥ Colorful party platters
