♥ Mint chocolate chip cookies

Thanksgiving is so close I can almost taste it. This is one of my favorite holidays of the year because I am incredibly grateful for my family, friends, and the opportunities that I am lucky to be a part of.  I could seriously make an unending list of everything I am grateful for in life, but for this week alone I am grateful for the adorable kids I tutor, my friends who are too good to me, my kind and smart professors, and Kelly Clarkson’s new album that energizes me up in-between essay writing. Only half a week to go, and then it’s turkey and mashed potatoes time! Until then, here are the things I am watching and craving.

The Hunger Games - I don’t know how I am just getting into this…currently reading the book so I am ready for the March release date

♥ Remembering summer days. This is a great recipe for when you want to taste summer again.

♥ Movie plans for the weekend [trailer here]

♥ A cute coffee chart when you are too dazed in the morning and need some reminding

Friday’s Features

This week has been so incredibly busy as I spent a lot of time getting ahead of my work so that I can enjoy my Fall Break to its fullest. A 4-day break will be a nice change of pace from the daily grind, and I can’t wait to eat lots of good food, see familiar faces, and let my mind rest. To wrap up a productive week, here are the things I’ve been watching and craving. Have a wonderful weekend full of crunching leaves and hot apple cider!

♥ Vertical wall fruit racks to serve as a decorative and convenient wall piece

♥  Gave 2 Broke Girls a chance. I’m so glad I did.

♥ Caramel apples as a late-night study snack

♥ Trailer for Martha Marcy May Marlene

♥ The idea of a drive-in movie with popcorn as the sun goes down sounds like the perfect way to end the week
