California Roll / Lost in Translation

I have always wanted to visit Japan. Not only does Japan look stunning in pictures and have a rich culture, but Japanese food is also one of my favorite cuisines. In honor of one of my “Places I’d Love to See” (on a list of many), I wanted to pair sushi and the movie Lost in Translation. Not only am I a fan of Sofia Coppola, but I also adore Scarlett Johansson and Bill Murray. I have seen Lost in Translation several times, and each time I watch I always view the movie from a new perspective. The movie is full of interesting life lessons and stories, and the characters’ complex personalities are contrasted against Tokyo, which bursts with electricity and color.
