I can’t believe summer is actually here. It feels like last summer was just yesterday. With summer comes icy treats, barbecues on warm nights, and fresh fruit. This season I plan on eating as many berries as possible, not only because they are great for your health, but because they add sweetness to any meal or dessert. While blueberries have more nutritional value when eaten raw, they are excellent additions to baked desserts and frozen treats. Whether you get your blueberries by hand-picking them or by buying them at the grocery store, definitely try to incorporate this fruit into your diet as much as possible!
