All Things Lavender

Lavender Farm 1

I’ve always enjoyed the scent of lavender. When I heard about the Ali’i Kula Lavender farm in Maui, I couldn’t not go. The lavender farm is a beautiful stretch of land overlooking the ocean and beaches. Strolling through the gardens on a sunny day is the equivalent of paradise. Not only were the fields gorgeous, but the lavender products in the gift shop were beyond delightful. Products included lavender soap, oil, eye masks, lotions, shampoos, and satchels. There were also food items such as scones, brownies, tea, butter, and honey.

To my surprise, I learned that lavender has many incredible uses. Lavender oil serves as an antifungal, it can be used on cuts and insect bites, it helps you relax, and it is often used to treat insomnia. For all those uses, a $12.00 bottle sounds like a win-win. For an affordable and relaxing morning or afternoon, visiting the Ali’i Kula Lavender farm is a decision you will not regret.

If you’re in Maui, also check out Surfing Goat Dairy for another amazing afternoon!
