One of the most eclectic restaurants I’ve ever been to is Serendipity 3. They are famous for their Frozen Hot Chocolate, which they have in other flavors and quite honestly lives up to the fame. Serendipity 3 is located at 225 East 60th St. in New York City, and is sort of tucked away. If this restaurant name sounds familiar, you probably saw it in the movie of the same name: Serendipity with John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale. When I’ve made reservations in the past, it took months to get a table, so plan ahead! Even the line outside takes up a good chunk of sight-seeing time. The food isn’t necessarily great, but people usually go for the experience or to spot a celebrity. Serendipity 3 has seen the likes of stars such as John Travolta, Beyonce, Rachel Weisz, and Tori Spelling, to name a few.
