Battle of the Talk Show Hosts

I have always been fascinated with interviews, whether it is with an actor, entrepreneur, chef, artist, musician, athlete, you name it. I am intrigued by the questions that are asked and the responses that are given. The more unique and specific the question, the better. The point of an interview is to learn more about someone, a cause, or something that is being promoted, such as a product, movie, album, or book. Some of my favorite interviews/interviewers include: the Vanity Fair Proust Questionnaire, James Lipton on Inside the Actor’s Studio, and Interview Magazine. I not only like reading and watching interviews, but I enjoy being an interviewer – check out one of my first interviewer moments here.

Another style of interviewing that is more casual comes in the form of a late night talk show. This way, the hosts can talk with interviewees in a more conversational form. Even if for only 7 minutes, the interviewer can get a lot out of someone by being face to face (and on national television). There are a lot of talk show hosts out there so it can be challenging to choose a favorite, especially when they each have something unique to offer.

Out of these 6 wildly popular talk show hosts, who would your favorites be?
